An introduction to THE KIS PROCESS

KIS, or Kaizen Infusion System, is an advanced resin infusion technology that offers several advantages over other infusion solutions, wet layup and prepregs.

The KIS is based on accurate computer simulations, that allow for a perfect result first time. It operates around a complex formula based on pressure difference, matrix viscosity and surface tension as well as reinforcements permeability.

KIS does not require any resin transfer medium, thus saving on materials, labour and waste. KIS is effective for the manufacture of large composite parts, moulds, small laminates and RTM pre-production test runs.

KIS is cost effective: less consumables, no storage at freezing temperatures, no expensive ovens and heat resistant moulds, less testing thanks to simulation.

KIS does not release VOCs (volatile organic compounds) in the working environment.

KIS produces high performance structures, with resin contents as low as 37%. The process is so effective that it can offer an epoxy laminate for the cost of a vinylester alternative.

Kaizen Technologies Inc provides a full “turnkey” package where your workshop can produce infused structures fast, efficiently and in a cost effective manner. The perfect solution for large boats, windmill blades, high volume manufacture pre-production, moulds and any custom project.
